Lokaza connects renters with landlords in Seychelles. Renters submit their preferences through our website and receive WhatsApp alerts when a matching property becomes available. The service is free for renters.

Lokaza is a matchmaking intermediary only. We are not a real estate agency, we do not list properties ourselves, and we are not party to any rental agreement between a renter and a landlord.

By submitting your details, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You consent to being contacted via the WhatsApp number you provide.
• You will not misuse the service or submit false information.

We do our best to check every listing before sharing it, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided by landlords or verify their identity. Always exercise your own judgement before entering into any rental agreement. Lokaza is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from interactions between renters and landlords.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Lokaza after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

When you submit the renter form, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your WhatsApp phone number
• Your rental preferences - property type, budget, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, preferred areas, move-in timeframe, and optional amenities

Your data is used solely to match you with relevant rental properties and contact you via WhatsApp when a match is found. Specifically:

• Your phone number is stored securely and is only shared with a landlord when you express interest in their property.
• We do not add you to group chats or broadcast lists.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Your data is stored securely and your phone number is never exposed publicly. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We retain your data for as long as you remain an active renter on our platform. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us - we will remove your record within 7 days.

Under the Seychelles Data Protection Act and applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
